PCMC police announces traffic changes in Talegaon, Bhosari, PCMC and Hinjawadi areas for Ganesh Visarjan; check complete details for each area
Pune, September 14, 2024: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCMC) have announced temporary traffic changes in areas under their jurisdiction in PCMC, including Hinjawadi, ahead of the Ganesh Visarjan.
The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the region, and the processions that accompany the immersion of Ganpati idols often result in large crowds gathering on the roads. This causes significant traffic jams and delays for motorists. To ensure safe and smooth traffic flow during the festival, the PCMC Traffic Branch, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Bapu Bangar, has issued new traffic regulations, canceling any previous restrictions.
