Pune, September 07, 2024: As Pune celebrates Ganeshotsav 2024, from September 7 to September 17, the Pune Traffic Police have announced special parking arrangements for the convenience of citizens. The festival will see a significant influx of visitors to the city, with numerous decorations and lighting displays, culminating in the grand Ganesh Visarjan procession on September 17, starting at 9:00 AM.

To manage the large crowds and ensure smooth traffic flow, the following parking facilities have been designated for private vehicles during the festival period:

  • New English School, Ramanabagh: Bike parking
  • Nilayam Talkies: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Shivaji Akhada Station: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Desai College: Police Parking
  • Vimalabai Garware High School: Bike parking
  • Abasaheb Garware College: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Sanjeevani Medical College Grounds: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Hamalwada, Near Patriyamaruti Chowk: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Gogte Prashala: Bike parking
  • SSPMS, Shivajinagar: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • SP College: Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler parking
  • Near PMPML Maidanapuram Chowk: Four-wheeler parking

  • Harjeevan Hospice, in front: Bike parking
