The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is swiftly responding to assist those affected by the recent heavy rainfall. PMC Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Rajendra Bhonsle is personally overseeing the situation, continuously directing officials and staff to ensure timely aid reaches the citizens.

Heavy rains yesterday caused flooding in homes on Sinhagad Road, Patil Estate near Sanchayani Bridge, Ekta Nagar, and Phulachi Wadi. The PMC has initiated an extensive cleanup operation to clear mud, silt, and debris from these affected areas.

Medical services are also being provided at Tapodham, Uttam Nagar, and Warje, with the PMC Health Department offering free medical care to relocated flood victims.

The PMC’s disaster management team is fully prepared to address any issues arising from the heavy rainfall, and a 24-hour helpline is available for citizens’ convenience.
