All Property Registration Office Across Maharashtra to Remain Closed on July 27 for Data Migration
Mumbai: All 519 property registration offices across Maharashtra will remain closed on Saturday to carry out work to migrate data to cloud services. Officials said the closure is only for a day.
The data, currently held at ESDS in Navi Mumbai, will be migrated to the Advance Data Centre, as part of an upgrade of systems as per a directive issued by the inspector general of registration and controller of stamps.
The migration process will start at 9.30pm on Friday and continue though Saturday, said officials.
The order specifies that while all registration offices will be closed on Saturday, services will resume on Sunday at those offices which are usually operational on that day.
