Pune: Mulshi Dam 70% Full, Water Release Scheduled for Mula River at 2 PM
Heavy rainfall in the Mulshi Dam area has resulted in the Mulshi Dam Reservoir reaching 70% capacity as of 7:00 AM today. In response, authorities have announced that 2500 cusecs of water will be released from the dam spillway into the Mula River at 2:00 PM.
Residents have been advised to avoid entering the riverbed, as the water levels will rise significantly. If the rainfall continues or intensifies, the discharge rate will be adjusted accordingly, either increased or reduced based on the situation.
