Pune: MLA Siddharth Shirole Inspects Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro and University Flyover Work, Warns Agencies for Delays
Recently, MLA Siddharth Shirole conducted an on-foot inspection of the entire stretch from Civil Court to Pashan Road of the ongoing Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro and University flyover project. He was accompanied by Yogesh Mhase, the commissioner of PMRDA, Additional CP of Pune City Police Manoj Patil, along with the officials and heads of all departments, contractors, and agencies involved in the project.
During this visit, Shirole and his team thoroughly assessed the situation and identified several failures on the part of the administration and contractors regarding public safety, public convenience, and the prolonged delays in the project. The contractors have missed the deadline for the completion of the road, which Shirole deemed unacceptable.
As an MLA, Shirole, in coordination with the new commissioner of PMRDA, took feedback from all parties involved and issued a stern warning. He made it clear that immediate action must be taken to address the issues of public safety and convenience. Shirole emphasized that this project is a lifeline for Pune and stressed the importance of eradicating all inconveniences related to traffic and public safety without further delay.
Furthermore, Shirole highlighted the importance of maintaining open and transparent communication with the citizens to keep them informed about the progress and any disruptions. He stated that the public’s trust and convenience are paramount and it is imperative that the contractors and agencies involved take their responsibilities seriously and expedite the completion of this project.
