Traveling to or in Mumbai tomorrow? Check traffic advisory for Aashadhi Ekadashi Yatra

Mumbai Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the ‘AASHADHI EKADASHI’ yatra on 17th July 2024. A large number of devotees are expected to gather in the vicinity of Vitthal Mandir (Prati Pandharpur) in Wadala, which will likely cause significant traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.

To minimize inconvenience, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented:

Traffic Regulations

The following traffic regulations will be effective from 18:00 hrs on 16th July 2024 until 08:00 hrs on 18th July 2024:

No Entry Zones

  • Dadar T.T. to Tilak Road and Junction of Katrak Road
  • Mancherji Joshi Road and Jam-e-Jamshedji Road and their junctions up to Five Gardens and Junction of Tilak Road (North to South)
  • Katrak Road to Devid Baretto Circle and Junction of G.D. Ambekar Marg and Tilak Road (North to South)
  • G.D. Ambekar Marg coming from Sarfare Chowk (junction of G.D. Ambekar Marg and Naigaon Cross Road) towards Katrak Road
  • Tilak Road extension from Sahkar Nagar Galli towards Katrak Road (East to West)
  • Parsee Colony Road No.13 and Road No.14 and junction of Lady Jahangir Road and the junction of Katrak Road
  • Dinshaw Road and junction of Mancherji Joshi Marg and Katrak Road

Diversion

  • Traffic will be diverted to Dr. B.A. Road (North bound via Ruia Junction).

To ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the ‘AASHADHI EKADASHI’ yatra, Mumbai Police has put these traffic measures in place. Devotees and residents are advised to follow the traffic advisory for Mumbai and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
