Bengaluru: Traffic advisory issued ahead of Metro Work Along Outer Ring Road

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has commenced laying of 220KV cable along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) area.

In regards to this work, Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) have issued a traffic advisory that during the cable laying work, traffic congestion could be expected between Salarpuria Soft Zone on Ibbalur Service Road and Central Mall, Bellandur. The police said that this work is expected to be carried out in the next 20 days starting May 01, 2024.

Although the work will be carried out at night from 11 pm to 6 am, still the motorists are advised to plan their travel through alternate routes or factor in the congestion before planning to travel along the affected area.

It is expected that this construction work may not affect traffic during daytime as the work is planned during nighttime between 11 pm to 6 am.
