Young woman tragically loses life while taking a selfie too close to railway tracks
A young woman tragically lost her life while clicking pictures standing dangerously close to railway tracks. She was fatally knocked down by a train coming from behind.
The viral video, shows dozens of people waiting for a steam engine train near a train track in Hidalgo, Mexico. Some of them are seen standing very close to the track to take selfies and videos with the train.
The driver of the train is heard blowing horn to alert people and to avoid an accident. However people ignore the warnings and venture too close near the tracks. During this commotion, a young woman went so close to the railway track while making a reel that she was hit by the train. The young woman collapsed on the spot and did not get up. According to reports, she died in the accident.

The video of the young woman’s tragic death is going viral on social media. After watching this video, people are talking about learning a lesson from it. The clip has been viewed nearly two lakh times so far. The trains are much wider than tracks so it is not safe to stand near the tracks to take pictures as one can easily misjudge the width of the train.
The woman died on the spot but her family members witnessed the accident in front of their eyes and will not be able to forget this traumatic scene.
When the woman was taking a selfie, the corner of the train coming from behind hit her on the head and she collapsed on the spot. This sudden incident caused anxiety among other tourists present on the spot. A man tried to lift her but no movement is seen from the woman. According to local media, the impact of the train was so strong that the woman died on the spot.
The deceased woman had come to Hidalgo with her son and other children from his school. She wanted to take a photo of a vintage steam train with her children. She went too far to take a selfie on the tracks and did not realize that the train was was much wider than tracks. The train hit her and she died on the spot.
It is highly advisable to be very careful while taking selfies at tourist spots because it is easy to loose track of dangers and get carried away by the urge of clicking thrilling pictures. Similarly taking selfies at cliffs and edges of hills have resulted in many deaths.
