Reliance Jio launches ‘Jio Bharat V2’ 4G phone at an unbelievably low price with an incredibly affordable plan!

The company’s launch aims to attract nearly 250 million 2G users in India, most of whom are currently using services provided by other operators like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea. As Reliance Jio operates only on 4G and 5G networks, this move is expected to significantly increase its user base. The company anticipates attracting 100 million users with the help of ‘Jio Bharat V2’.
The ‘Jio Bharat V2’, priced at INR 999, is one of the most affordable phones currently available in the market. The monthly plan associated with this phone is also one of the most economical, with a recharge plan of INR 123 valid for 28 days.
In contrast, other operators offer starting plans from INR 179 that include voice calls and 2GB of data. However, ‘Jio Bharat V2’ offers its users 14GB of data, half a GB every day, which is seven times more than the data offered by its competitors. Annual plans for ‘Jio Bharat V2’ are also available for customers at INR 1234.
Reliance’s Chairman Mukesh Ambani had previously hinted at bringing 2G free service to India. With this intention, the company has launched the ‘Jio Bharat’ platform to transition 250 million 2G users to 4G. Other companies could potentially use this platform to manufacture 4G phones. Karbonn Company has already begun using this platform. Experts anticipate that the 4G ‘Jio Bharat’ series mobiles will soon replace 2G feature phones.
To attract 2G users, the company had introduced the Jio Phone to the market in 2018. The JioPhone has since become a favorite among 130 million users. Similar expectations are held for ‘Jio Bharat V2’. The company has announced the start of beta trials for ‘Jio Bharat V2’ from July 7. The company’s plan is to reach ‘Jio Bharat V2’ to 6,500 talukas across the country.

The domestically produced ‘Jio Bharat V2’ 4G weighs just 71 grams and comes with features like HD voice calling, FM radio, and support for a 128GB SD memory card. The mobile features a 4.5 cm TFT screen, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a 1000mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, powerful loudspeakers, and a torch.
Customers of Jio Bharat V2 will also get free access to a subscription to Jio Cinema and access to 80 million songs on JioSaavn. Customers can perform UPI transactions through JioPay. Customers can operate ‘Jio Bharat V2’ in their native language. The mobile is capable of operating in 22 Indian languages.
