11 Coaches of Kamakhya Superfast Express Derail in Odisha, No Casualties Reported

Eleven coaches of the SMVT Bengaluru-Kamakhya AC Express derailed near Nirgundi station in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Sunday morning, officials confirmed. The incident occurred at 11:54 am near Manguli, disrupting rail traffic on the route.
East Coast Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Ashok Kumar Mishra, stated that no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. “We have mobilized our resources and alerted the NDRF and fire services. A relief train has been dispatched to the site,” Mishra said.
