UPSC 2023 Results Declared: Many aspirants from Maharashtra among top achievers

Pune UPSC 2023 results

The 2023 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations results, declared on Tuesday, showcased remarkable achievements from Maharashtra’s very own aspirants. Aniket Hirde, a resident of Thane city, and Samiksha Mehetre also from Thane, have both secured impressive ranks in one of the country’s most challenging exams.

Aniket Hirde achieved the 81st rank nationally, placing him within the top 100 achievers this year. Hirde, who is already serving as a probationary Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, expressed his joy and determination following his success. “I am extremely happy to achieve this success, which is the result of continuous effort and hard work over several years. It has made my parents proud, and I will serve our country with full honesty during my service,” he stated.

Samiksha Mehetre, a chartered accountant by profession, also performed exceptionally, securing the 302nd rank. Both Hirde and Mehetre prepared for the examinations at the Chintaman Rao Deshmukh Administrative Training Institute, run by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), which included sessions like mock interviews to better equip them for the challenges of the examination process.

In addition to Hirde and Mehetre, other candidates from Maharashtra also showcased strong performances. Dr. Keshavrao Jadhav from Hingoli, the son of a farmer, secured the 395th rank, while Abhijit Pakhere from the small village of Padli in the Shirur Kasar taluka of Beed district, earned the 720th rank. Pakhere, a group development officer in Gadchiroli, credited his success to his family’s support and his educational foundation. “I have got this success because of my parents, the guidance of teachers, and the support of friends and family. This is a very good opportunity to work for the public,” he noted.

Aditya Srivastava topped this year’s list, securing the first rank nationwide. The results have not only brought joy to the successful candidates but also pride to their communities and the institutions that helped in honing their skills for such a prestigious competition.
