Traffic block on Mumbai-Pune Expressway for 2 hours today
Traffic on Mumbai-Pune Expressway will be disrupted for two hours on April 25 due to gantry installation work for Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS).
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced a two-hour traffic block on the Mumbai Channel of the expressway to facilitate a gantry installation on the Pune to Mumbai Channel.
This work will be carried out from 12 noon to 2 pm, during which all types of vehicular traffic on the Mumbai bound channel will be completely stopped.
During this period, motorists can travel by alternate route. Mumbai bound traffic will be diverted to the old Mumbai-Pune highway through Khopoli town and then back on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway via Shadung toll booth.
