Thunderstorm, rain and wind warning for Pune and adjoining areas in the evening

Light to moderate rain is expected in Pimple Saudagar, Sanghvi, Chinchwad areas between 4 to 5 pm. Sus, Pashan, Baner and Bavdhan may also receive light rain.

Later in the evening, there is a possibility of thunderstorm in Pune and adjoining areas, especially south Pune.

Shani nagar, katraj, Bibwewadi, Kothrud, Sinhagad road, Khadakwasla, Padmavati likely to get showers from 4-5pm.

Also due to mild to strong winds, there is a possibility of trees and tin sheds falling. Residents are advised to take precautions. Do not stand under a tree or near loose fittings or fixtures. Lightening strike is also a very likely possibility in such weather.
