Residents of Blue Ridge in Hinjawadi, Pune, are banding together to organize a significant environmental conservation effort. The “Save Mula River Initiative” plans to host a peaceful march on April 20th, 2024, to spotlight the critical pollution issues plaguing the Mula River, the community’s only source of water. The event is designed to foster community involvement and encourage proactive measures to safeguard this essential resource.

    • Gathering: 9:45 AM at Marina Lawns/Yoga Lawns near Unit A Tower 1 Security Cabin

    • Route: From Yoga Lawns to Check Dam and back to Yoga Lawns
  • Activities:
    • Peaceful March: A walk to highlight the pollution issues facing the Mula River.
    • Chain Fasting: A voluntary 2-hour fasting to deepen the community’s commitment (optional).

In addition to the march, there is an opportunity for participants to engage in a chain fasting for two hours.
